Participant Information Form

We are excited you will be attending Seeds of Hope! To help us prepare you for a great experience, please print the suggested packing list and emergency contacts for your records, and complete the following form. If you have questions, contact Cheryl Hufnagel at CHufnagel@FelicianSisters.org.

You will receive 6 tshirts — one to wear each full day of Seeds of Hope.

CHEST: measure 1" under arms

LENGTH: measure from center of the back neck seam, straight down to back bottom hem.

Roommate Choices optional

Each room sleeps two people. Your roommate choice must choose you on her form as well. We will make every effort to pair you with one of your roommate choices.

Transportation 

Arrive at airport/bus/train station on July 7 between 12 and 3 p.m.

Depart from airport/bus/train station on July 13 no earlier than 4 p.m.

Car travel times will be communicated via email

Participants are responsible for coordinating travel arrangements to and from the program. Those traveling by plane, train or bus will be greeted by a Felician Sister at their point of arrival and transported to Maryville Retreat Center in Holly, MI.

Medical/Dietary

Your medical information is for the sole purpose of your safety and health while attending. A registered nurse will be present 24/7 during the program in case of an emergency. Please note: over-the-counter and prescribed medications must be in original packaging and include label and dosage. Medications will be kept and distributed by the onsite nurse.

Workshop Options

Participants will attend two of the following workshops. Rank your choice in order of preference. We will make every effort to accommodate your choices. 

Taking Care of You

Learn techniques and strategies to pursue the best version of yourself, caring for both your mental and physical well-being.

Building Trust Through Conversation

Learn and practice techniques for developing deeper relationships with others through meaningful dialog.

Dealing with Change and Loss

Learn techniques to help you journey through difficult times and cope with transitions. 

Managing Stress through Mindfulness

Learn and practice mindfulness techniques to reduce anxiety by focusing your awareness on the present.

Day of Service

Participants spend a day at one of the following ministries in Detroit. Rank your choice in order of preference:
